Filmová filmharmonie (also known as Filmharmonie) is a symphony orchestra that focuses on spectacular concert performances of film music since 2014. For this purpose, it connects young professional musicians, as well as talented students of conservatories and universities.
 
Great film music requires a great cast, that’s why we have up to 150 artists performing in Rudolfinum in Prague.  Therefore, our audience can witness the one-time experience of a dynamic live concert of film music, always presented in the highest quality.
 
Filmharmonie mainly prepares thematic concerts. It is a unique concept that allows the audience to experience a profound presentation of a given genre. As programs of our concerts are carefully picked from famous film settings, each of them constitutes an immersing experience.

Our program regularly features concerts focused on Fantasy, Sci-fi, and Western. Besides film music, we have a concert called Games, that can appeal to fans of PC games. The dramaturgy of Matěj Lehár, together with its excellent reputation has sold out many of the orchestra’s concerts in past years.
